The Vans Aura OG Snowboard Boots provide the durability and performance you need out of an all-mountain boot, but with a pared-down design that doesn’t distract itself with all of the bells and whistles. The single Boa system will have you dialed in for a good time, and a forgiving flex and super comfortable liner will help you get the most out of any style of riding.

Flex

Flex Rating– 4 – 5 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)

Instep Flex Zone– The Instep Flex Zone functions to maintain natural ankle flexion in your boot, whether in or out of your bindings.

Fit

Pleasurecuff– The supple elasticity of the PleasureCuff delivers a cushioned, comfortable fit that keeps your calves supported.

Liner

V1 UltraCush Liner– The V1 liner is amazingly simple, delivering comfort and essential support in a streamlined design. It is Vans’ most flexible liner, built to be functional and forgiving for riders of all levels.

V1 Boot Harness– Vans’s lightest and most simple harness is designed to ensure effective support and heel hold when paired with the V1 liner.

Lacing System

Vans Boa Coiler– This tongue-mounted single reel system utilizes a spring-loaded spool to automatically retract cable slack for quick and efficient closure. Cable guides are designed to optimize closure force in specific areas of the boot.

Footbed

V1 POPCUSH Footbed– Single-density POPCUSH construction / 3D-molded anatomical shape / Airflow perforations / Nylex moisture-wicking top sheet.

Heat Retention 360º– All Vans snowboard boots feature a newly improved thermal retention layer that provides a 360° wrap of the toe box and between the outsole and the liner. This essential layer keeps heat in and cold out, ensuring all-day warmth and comfort.

Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate Beginner-IntermediateWhether you’re new to the sport or working on linking smooth turns, you fall into this ability level. Typical beginner skis and snowboards are usually built with softer materials, narrower widths, and feature cap construction for an easy to turn, forgiving ride. Beginner-intermediate boots and bindings are also built for ease of use and progression, featuring softer flexes and in the case of ski bindings, quick and safe release from the ski in case of a fall.

Flex Rating: Medium MediumThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers’ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
